another PURSE.

I know. I know. I should be writing my thesis. I am. I just wrote a sentence like 5 minutes ago, so there is totally progress going on in the background of my procrastination. I made a larger version of the purse for Rylan, but this one is for Kristin, who just finished all of the schooling she will ever have to do. EVER. pretty exciting.

So this is the purse. I really like this Art deco style fabric, but it wasn't too easy to match it with any of the fabrics that I had lying around, so I took a chance and went with some nice aqua for the top panel. I think it looks good, although a little daring and mismatchy.
here is a little close up, complete with my head poking through! These bags are fun little projects, so its alright that I have two more to go.

I am loving all the purses! I'll definitely have to check out that pattern. It's inspiring me to sew, something I haven't had the time to do. I am told by a little birdie, aka Schuyler (at track workouts Thursday), that we would get along great. I think the purses seal the deal, we need to hook up and craft together.
